This team is responsible for managing supply chain security, legal & enforcement activities (by Warner Bros. and on an industry level), consumer awareness initiatives, public policy/lobbying, data gathering, reporting & analytics services to the Theatrical, Home Entertainment and Television divisions.

Group General Counsel & Company Secretary Mulberry

Kate Anthony Wilkinson is a practicing Solicitor. She is Group General Counsel and Company Secretary for Mulberry, the English luxury leather goods manufacturer and retailer, famous for its iconic leather bags such as the Bayswater and Alexa, often seen on the arms of celebrities around the world.

Kate is based at Mulberry’s main manufacturing operation in the Somerset countryside. She is responsible for all legal facets of Mulberry’s global business, ranging from commercial contracts to property; trademarks to counterfeits and brand protection; governance and compliance to M&A; international business to customer issues. Mulberry has an established global presence which brings with it global legal issues and global brand protection requirements.

Previously to Mulberry, Kate was a corporate finance Solicitor with a national UK law firm, following which she moved in-house and has held General Counsel roles with a number of international companies including British Alcan Aluminium and Rio Tinto.

Kate is also Trustee of the Bristol Aero Collection Trust, a charity which operates the new Aerospace museum in Bristol; Advisory Editor to the technical publication ‘Jordans Corporate Governance & Administration’; and writes articles, blogs and presents on a variety of legal and commercial matters.

Senior Counsel Amazon
Steve is Senior Counsel at Amazon.com where he manages the trademark practice for Amazon’s digital devices and services, as well as its domain name portfolio team. He has experience in and advises on issues in intellectual property, marketing, branding, licensing, advertising, and social media. Steve is also active in Internet governance policy and serves on the International Trademark Committee’s Anti-counterfeiting Committee, and the advisory board for the NYU Law Engelberg Center on Innovation Law & Policy. Steve was an active member of the ICANN Business Constituency for several years, and served on the 2016 ICANN Nominating Committee. Prior to rejoining Amazon in 2016, Steve worked at Twitter as its first trademark counsel in San Francisco where he managed the trademark, marketing and domain name practices. He was also an Associate at the New York City office of Kilpatrick Townsend and Stockton LLP.

Steve Hewitt is chief executive of Gymshark, the fitness clothing brand that sells to 177 countries via its 13 e-commerce stores. Sales hit £103m in 2018, and it is forecasting sales of more than £180m this year. It has grown by engaging fans online, with sponsorships of popular YouTube and Instagram ambassadors helping it reach a combined following of 30m.

Steve has been at the helm since 2014, having previously been CEO at Sport Brands Group and EMEA commercial director at Reebok.

He founded Domain Incite in 2010. Murphy has written for Datamonitor, ComputerWire, Computer Business Review, The Register, TechWorld and Domain Name Wire. Domain Incite has been cited as an expert source by The Guardian, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, CBC, Wired and World Trademark Review, as well as many other publications.

Jack is Legal Counsel at global luxury brand Manolo Blahnik. Jack’s background is in IP law, having trained and qualified at DLA Piper in London, working on contentious and non-contentious IP.

Jack joined Manolo Blahnik in April 2017 and his practice areas include a wide range of matters including general commercial, IT, data protection, advertising and consumer protection as well as the management of the brand’s intellectual property and enforcement strategy.

As Sky’s Group Strategy Manager for Anti-Piracy, Abigail works with several key business areas and subject matter experts across the UK & European organisations to define and facilitate delivery of strategic initiatives. This extends more widely as Sky promotes wider industry collaboration in the Anti-Piracy arena where cooperative effort is vital.

Having joined Sky in 2010, Abigail moved into Anti-Piracy at the start of 2018 following experience in both IT and telecoms. She recently completed an MBA at Warwick Business School.

Steve has worked within law enforcement for 10 years with a background in fraud and cyber-crime with a focus around internet infrastructure disruption.

Steve currently leads Operation Creative, PIPCU’s anti-piracy operation. Steve was awarded the City of London award for Innovation for placing the City of London police on a platform of excellence in this field.

Rikard Bandebo
Vice President, Product MarkMonitor

Rikard Bandebo leads the product team at MarkMonitor. Prior to joining MarkMonitor, he was the Chief Product Officer at Bersin by Deloitte, where he created and led the product and advisory teams and launched BersinOne, BersinWorks, BersinEdge and the Employee Experience Dashboard. He has an extensive background building data and analytics products having led the analytics and advisory product groups at First Data Corporation and was the Senior Director and the Global Manager for the Investor Relations Roundtable and JM Lafferty Associates at CEB, now Gartner. At First Data, he also served as the Chief Economist and was a regular guest on Bloomberg TV. His career began with building analytics applications for portfolio managers at ABB Investment Management.

He obtained both his postgraduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Edinburgh in Finance and Computer Science, magna cum laude.

Charlie Abrahams

Charlie Abrahams is a recognized and energetic executive with an established record of creating a strong European presence for leading global technology companies. His experience includes re-building and running the EMEA organization for Network General Corporation after its divesture from Network Associates, during which he grew the organization’s revenue significantly. Previously, he was hired by Plumtree Software (later acquired by BEA) to create the European business from scratch, signing on Global 100 customers and adding consulting services. Abraham’s prior experience also includes executive positions at Amdahl Corporation, IBM and Burroughs Machines. Based in London, Abrahams has a Master’s degree with honours in economics and sociology from Cambridge University and held a scholarship to King Edward’s School in Birmingham.

Robin is product lead for the MarkMonitor AntiPiracy business unit. His portfolio includes detection, verification and enforcement services that target the unauthorised distribution of live broadcast, on-demand programming (VOD, EST/DTO, SVOD, AVOD etc), software, games and eBooks. His responsibility includes delivering a clear vision and strategic direction for the portfolio of AntiPiracy services from MarkMonitor & NetResult. He leads product development decisions around service requirements necessary to meet individual client needs along with identifying operational efficiency improvements that reduce the time to market for new capabilities.

Prior to joining the company Robin was at BBC Worldwide, the commercial division of the UK PBS. There he delivered the first full-scale B2B Digital Video Supply Chain service in Europe. He also led the complex multi-platform distribution strategy (on-line, TV, theatrical, social) for the worldwide simultaneous release of the BAFTA winning 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who. Declared as a new Guinness World Record, the programme was released day and date in 15 languages to 98 countries.

Robin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Television & Radio from the University of Salford and is a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).

Prior to MarkMonitor, Martina worked in an IP law firm based in Milan for 3 years advising Italian fashion clients on contentious and non-contentious IP matters relating to trademarks, design, copyright, trade secrets and know-how. Martina holds a Law Master Degree in European, International and Comparative Law from the University of Trieste (Italy).

Simon is Vice President EMEA at Clarivate, working specifically with the MarkMonitor suite of solutions having joined MarkMonitor in 2007 to assist the company's expansion. With experience of working with some of the largest companies in the world, Simon is applying his enterprise knowledge and skillset to the area of protecting companies' Intellectual property online and in recent years has become a recognised industry expert, speaking at IQPC, ACG, Luxury Law, Summit The Law Society and INTA amongst others. Simon was previously European Director of CDC, EMEA Director at Network Associates and UK head of Magic Solutions prior to joining MarkMonitor.

He holds a BSc honours degree in Psychology & Computer Science from Hertfordshire University.
