ActiveStandards And MarkMonitor Sign Marketing Alliance To Offer Brand Protection For Optimised Customer Experience

Elisa Cooper will host an interactive table topic on brand protection in the new generic top-level domain landscape

SAN FRANCISCO, April 30, 2012 – MarkMonitor®, the global leader in enterprise brand protection, today announced that Elisa Cooper, Director of Domain Product Marketing at MarkMonitor, will moderate an interactive session at the 2012 International Trademark Association (INTA) Annual Meeting. On May 8, Cooper will lead a discussion with industry professionals around ICANN’s new generic top-level domain (gTLD) initiative and brand protection strategies for the new system.

More than 9,000 intellectual property professionals will convene May 5–9 in Washington, D.C. for INTA’s Annual Meeting to learn about international trademark issues, including developments in international trademark laws, tactics for fighting global counterfeiting and effective strategies for domain management.
